I wrote earlier about Microsoft’s tasteless and embarrassing move to remove a black guy from a corporate advert adapted for Poland, where there is hardly any black people. Guess what? The black guy is back in this new video advert promoting Windows 7.

We’ll pretend we haven’t noticed this, Microsoft…

And you know what, don’t bother too much. We are just normal silly people. We’ll keep buying Windows.

Look at this picture. There is nothing wrong with it, right? Now look at it again carefully.

Nothing Weird About This Picture, Right?

Now lean your head slowly to the left as if you were turning the monitor and look at the girl on top.

This video portrays what smoking does to people. A random smoking guy gets the hard beating until he gets totally knocked down. When you smoke, your body takes the beating, says the voice over.

What is shown in the video is a good way of saying that smoking kills you while you may not be fully aware of it. I wish there were more anti-smoking campaigns like this one.

This hard hitting new anti-smoking campaign is filmed by renowned directors Rankin and Chris for NHS Birmingham East and North.

N900 is Nokia’s first Maemo device which offers a powerful and functional mix of a smartphone and a pocket laptop.

It’s high time Nokia came up with a gadget like this one to stand the competition against the rival Apple, who has been successfully increasing its smartphone market share in the absence of any serious competition. The new Linux-driven device should help Nokia to pull the blanket on its side. This, in turn, will certainly push Apple & HTC (*given that HTC discontinues stuffing their technology with Windows OS) to create something even better. Keep up fighting guys! Competition drives innovation and we, users & consumers, are happy to benefit from it.

Pre-orders are taken @ www.shop.nokia.com/n900.
