The two-headed tortoise

This strange animal was on display at the National Museum of Natural History in Kiev, Ukraine on Monday, March 5, 2012.

“Strictly speaking it isn’t a tortoise with two heads, but rather two conjoined tortoises,” Yuri Yuravliov, a zoologist, told AFP.

The two heads are actually different in thinking, acting in eating habits – the left one is more dominant and active.
