That’s how Google must have looked 30 years back. Or how it will look after ACTA kicks in.

Today, Google has embedded a Pacman game on the front page of the search engine. You ask why? I tell you why. Because too many people like you search stuff and over-load the servers. This game gets your attention off the search. It’s a trap. They also need backlinks. That easy.
When you enter “why are” into Google search bar, Google suggests you a shortcut to your question. The shortcuts are based on commonly asked questions in the country. I have taken some of the most interesting countries and here is what I got:

An hour ago Yahoo and Twitter announced content-sharing partnership.
What does it mean for users?
As a Yahoo user, you will be able to:
1. Access your friends’ tweets directly on Yahoo Mail and other Yahoo pages.
2. Update your Twitter status directly from Yahoo account.
3. Use Yahoo to search tweets real-time.
This partnership will likely slow down migration of Yahoo email users towards GMail and push Google to team up with Facebook to add value to its Google Buzz service, which seems to be stagnating.
While creating a google buzz profile page, I have noticed a question to answer in the Personality section: “Something I can’t find using Google”. Considering that so many users will sign up with Google buzz and answer this question, Google will get a good idea how to improve their search service.
That’s a truly brilliant survey trick.
