Several hundred thousand people showed up in the center of London yesterday to celebrate the new year 2010. People watched the fireworks performance from the London Eye area and Waterloo bridge:
A little bit on the fine & fun dining topic. I was happy to pop into Chili’s Reading restaurant at the Oracle Shopping Center yesterday and enjoy my Margarita again. The place has recently reopened after a fire earlier this March. Well, same old – nothing beats Chili’s Margaritas!
If you have ever eaten in Chili’s you’d know what I mean. But if you haven’t just know that Chili’s is a great place to hang out with friends and dine out with family. I have been eating there since I was 15; first with my family in South East Asia, and now with my friends here in London. The atmosphere and the ambiance of the place are very unique and inviting for a cozy dinner. Every day feels like Friday here because of the fun and yet relaxing environment. The food comes in big plates and portions, which makes the meals family- and student-friendly, or in other words – well shareable. For the quality of the food, the prices here are not very high. To give you an example, you can get 3 courses for around 20 pounds: you get to split a starter, choose two entrees, then share a dessert!
Read the press release and don’t forget to check out Chili’s vouchers.
