I remember I had to do this once with a friend a couple of years ago to get a meal from a McDonald’s drive-in, but we didn’t get so pro to have our own fake carton car.
McDonald’s tried to raise awareness about the freshness of their products with a Twitter campaign using two hashtags: #MeetTheFarmers and #McDstories. Unfortunately for them, the latter backfired and this is what it turned into:
Going Dutch is a slang term indicating that each person participating in a shared activity pays for himself or herself, rather than any one person paying for anyone else. It is also called Dutch date and Dutch Treat. Wikipedia
In case you did not know, Dutch (and Scandinavians) often prefer to pay for themselves, even if it’s a boy-to-girl date. This ad makes an emphasis on this phenomenon.

Today you see McDonald’s, KFC, Pizza Hut and Burger King on every corner in Russia and other former USSR countries. And of course you don’t get to see 300 people outside queuing up into the place.
